Pumpkin Seed Recipe
When I was a kid, we never cooked the pumpkin seeds. But they're really good. So, if you've ever been tempted to try cooking them but aren't sure how, I've used this recipe I for 3 years.
- Scoop all the seeds out of a pumpkin, rinse them, and let them dry.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over the seeds.
- Sprinkle with salt and toss.
- Spread the seeds on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until light brown. Don’t overcook. (Hint: Don’t go outside and carve the face in the pumpkin while the seeds are cooking.)
Bon appetit!
