Hacking the Verizon RAZR
This web site has some information about how to break Verizon's grip on my RAZR. This is an excellent site. However, for some reason, they don't appear to have a guide for the P2K Commander software.
This site has some instructions on using P2K Commander to copy pictures and ringtones.
After I got P2K Commander up and running, I was able to copy all of my pictures and videos out of my phone. I'd still like to copy my text messages out, but I wasn't able to figure that part out.

Its a doggie dog world
Jennifer sent me this in my cell phone yesterday with the caption "Its a doggie dog world". It's a photo of Slinky in bed, head on pillow, under the comforter. The photo is cute, but her interpretation of the phrase "It's a dog-eat-dog world" is better still. I'd much rather live in a "doggie dog" world than a "dog-eat-dog" world, wouldn't you?

Millions Starving in Zimbabwe
Well knock me over with a feather. No one could have seen this coming. The government ran all of the racist white devils off the farms in Zimbabwe and now the country's economy has collapsed, they're suffering from hyper-inflation, and everyone is starving. I am shocked - shocked I say - to learn that confiscating land didn't solve any problems. Their only hope for survival is to allow the white farmers to return, which is what they're beginning to do.

One December
This slideshow is composed of original images I shot over one weekend in the foothills of Colorado in December of 2006. All photos were captured using a Canon EOS 20D and a Canon EF 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens.
This slideshow (4:16) is a 7 Meg self-playing executable named RainKing.exe created using Imagematics StillMotion PE+. Soundtrack is Rain King by Counting Crows, off of the August And Everything After album. (This album contains many references to Saul Bellow's novel Henderson the Rain King).

The resolution is not quite as good on the Macromedia Flash version, and you can't pause and go backward and forward, but it loads faster, and it's a fairly decent presention.
