Math Observations...
The whole circle around the elephant and the question mark were unnecessary on the teacher's part. It's not like elephants are inconspicuous or anything. Either the elephant was in the way or not...
Part (b), is obviously a trick question. If an object is at rest, then it isn't moving. The elephant answer wasn't necessary...
We have to assume the object was on the surface of the Earth, so it would continue to move at the same speed as the planet... DUH!
This is also a trick question. In order to properly line an ocean, the material would have to be underneath the ocean. Since the material is underneath the ocean, it can't radiate into the atmosphere. Duh.
Obvious!
