SUPA INK Taggers
I work right beside a heavily used railroad track. They run freight trains up and down the line continuously. Mostly they're CSX trains. In any event, the thing that really sticks out on them is the graffiti. They're basically rolling billboards for taggers who start spray painting them as soon as the cars slow down.
Technically, it's vandalism and they prosecute the vermin when they catch them, but I'm not really clear how much damage they're doing. It makes the train a lot more interesting to watch as it rolls by, in my opinion. I noticed that a lot of the trains here have SUPA or INK tagged on them. But then, I see lots of tags and I've never been very adept at reading that pecualiar font they tag their names in. I'm critically white when it comes to deciphering gang tags.
But, what caught my eye was that I noticed that they spray painted SUPA on the bridge supports underneath the viaduct that crosses over the railroad tracks. So that means they're tagging here locally. I searched the internet and managed to find this police report where they charged someone with " one count of felony vandalism and two counts of felony destruction of property utilized by a railroad" for tagging some freight trains. Multiple felonies. Yikes.
