Error Deleting File or Folder
I hate Windows. More ways than I can say. Among the things I hate most about Windows, however, is that the computer won't do what I tell it to. Like deleting a folder. That I created. That's not being used. On my computer. Instead, I get this farking error message "Error Deleting File or Folder. Cannot remove folder [foldername]: It is being used by another person or program."
Now, the folder in question is certainly not being used by another person or program and even if it were, it's my folder and I want to delete it and I don't care if it causes the entire Windows XPSP2 O/S to come crashing down like the Tower of Babel. By God I said delete it and I want it deleted right farking now.
This guy suggests that I try using Unlocker., which he promises is free, easy to use, and works.
Oh my God. I just installed it and this product is Awesome! After I installed the software, I tried to delete the file again and got the same error message but this time, after I clicked OK for the error message to go away, Unlocker popped up, showing me why the folder was locked (by Explorer - God knows why?) and asking if I wanted to unlock it. I chose to "unlock" the folder and then I deleted it. Tada!!!!

Really this is an annoying situation. I faced that kind of thing. But LongPath Tool helped me in that situation. I had some AVAST folder to be deleted. but unable to did. on that moment i used that tool and succeed.
