McCain Pimp Slaps 'Senator Government'
At 2:00 in the video above, McCain says "Senator Obama, I am not President Bush. If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have run four years ago." Snap!
At 0:40 in the video above, McCain says "So Senator Obama, who has never traveled south of our border, opposes our Colombia Free Trade agreement. [snip] Free trade with Colombia is something that's a 'no brainer'. But maybe you ought to travel down there, and visit them, and maybe you could understand it a lot better."
Video above: McCain says "Senator Obama doesn't want a free trade agreement with our best ally in the region[Colombia], but wants to sit down across the table without preconditions with Hugo Chavez..." [snip] "I don't think there's any doubt that Senator Obama wants to restrict trade and he wants to raise taxes. And the last president of the United States that tried that was Herbert Hoover. And we went from a deep recession into a depression. We're not going to follow that path [...] when I'm president of the United States.
McCain compares Obama to Herbert Hoover. Ouch.
Video above: McCain compares Obama's boondoggle government run health care plan to Canada's and England's.
Video above: McCain calls Obama "Senator Government". Priceless.
I'm not really in a position to say who won the debate, but McCain clearly took the gloves off tonight. He attacked Obama on everything he could think of, including, but not limited to, his friendship with terrorist Bill Ayers, tax increases, government run health care, offshore drilling, CAFTA, spending increases, abortion, and ACORN. McCain really came out swinging. Like many people, I wish he'd gone after Obama like this the whole campaign.
Spread the wealth!
