Fritz Knoebel's Ranch

Betty Knoebel, and her husband, food services pioneer Ferdinand "Fritz" Knoebel, assembled the acreage for the ranch over a number of years. Fritz founded Knoebel Mercantile Co., which was later renamed as Nobel Inc. He grew Nobel into the largest privately owned food services company in the nation before selling it in 1992 to Sysco Co.

Betty Knoebel, in 2010, gave DU a gift of $17.5 million, which included the B Bar K Ranch.

Denver University then sold the ranch to Jim Goff, manager of the Janus Fund, the 5th largest mutual fund in the world.

The Tooth-hunter 2/15/2004

Well, I saw this water color of the Tooth-hunter when I was looking at some old photos of Jen with the Snow Dragon. But then, when I went back and looked for the Tooth-hunter, I couldn't find the images. I think that this has something to do with a bug in Windows explorer that it's not sorting properly when I'm clicking on the headings.
