Join us at Barr Lake's Annual Eagle Fest!
Saturday, Feb 1st 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Hope to see you at Barr Lake State Park's 8th Annual Eagle Fest! There will be crafts for the kids and a live raptor presentation that everyone will enjoy. Weather permitting, take a ride on the Eagle Express to and from the gazebo. Kids can join a Naturalist for Build It Big!, constructing a life-sized replica of a Bald eagle nest.
Schedule:
• Guided hike (3 miles roundtrip) 10 a.m. starting at Nature Center
• Bald eagle presentations at 12 p.m., 12:30pm and 1pm at Nature Center (first-come first-served. Line will form)
• Eagle express rides starting at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every 15 minutes
• Kids crafts 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Nature Center
• Build It Big! 11 a.m. at Nature Center
• Presentation by Bird Conservancy of the Rockies: 11:30 a.m. at the Nature Center
This event is free with your daily park pass or annual Colorado State Parks pass.
