Riding Again (After Blizzard of 2021)
Now that the weather has finally changed, I've started riding again.
In March, I was riding every day until the blizzard came. Then, on March 14th the snow came and made it the 2nd snowiest march in Colorado's history (behind the blizzard of March of 2003). So, I put the Africa Twin at the front of the garage, and pulled out the Honda ATV, as I figured that I wouldn't be riding for a while. Finally, the snows melted from my driveway on Saturday April 24th and I went for a ride. So, for the record, I didn't ride my motorcycle from March 14th - April 23rd. (I rode yesterday and today on April 24th & 25th)..
Yesterday, I rode up to Alice/St. Mary's Glacier.
Then, today I went for a little ride down 285. I went up Kenosha Pass as far as possible. About 7 miles in, it's closed near the Duck Creek Picnic Area. Also known as County Road 1038, Duck Creek Road, and Forest Road 119. Then, I turned and came back to 285, and ran up to the top of Kenosha Pass. From Kenosha Pass, back home via US 285.
Then, I stopped in on my fox den. I believe I saw 4 babies (2 red, 2 blk). And one parent (red). Will have to take camera over tomorrow and get some pics.
