Today's Motorcycle Ride 7/13/2023

So today, I tried to ride up to Jones Pass again. Still snowed in at the same switchback, above treeline, about a mile from the summit.

The mileage looks something like this:

• The distance from my house to Empire is about 30 miles / 40 minutes.
• Turn off of U.S. Highway 40 and go 5 miles to the Henderson Mine.
• Then go up the dirt road on your right about .5 miles to the Jones Pass trailhead.
• Then go up the dirt road towards the summit of Jones Pass for about 2.5 miles, at which point the road is snowed in. The summit would be about 1 more mile, but that will be after the snow melts for another month.
