SL Flies to Colorado
So today, I figured I'd check out the Jeep and make sure that it's ready to roll, as SL flies in tomorrow: Delta Flight 706 out of Atlanta arrives DEN on 10/31/2023 at 12:54 p.m.
I checked on the Jeep and the current plates expired tomorrow (10/31/2023), so I took the Jeep down the hill and got the plates renewed. With the new 2024 sticker, the plates are now good through 10/31/2024. Updated Proof of Insurance is in my wallet. So, I now have a street-legal vehicle to go pick her up in.
This also gave me a chance to get out and see what the roads were like, especially North Turkey Creek. North Turkey Creek is clear in places, and snow-packed in the twisties in the canyon. So, North Turkey Creek is not exactly clear, but I didn't have any trouble driving through its little canyons in the Jeep today. Just take it easy, and it's not that difficult. US Highway 285 is clear. C470 is clear.
So, I should be good for tomorrow Tuesday 10/31/2023. Jeep is street-legal. Proof of insurance in wallet. Roads are clear. I set my alarm for 11:00 a.m. That should give me plenty of time to get out there for a 12:54 p.m. arrival.
